We will attempt to keep these guides updated with any new tips and tricks that we, or others, discover. Check back from time to time if you’re looking for more tips.
Focus on boss, kill spiders when called. Windwalker’s mobility will let you fly back and forth without much loss.
Make sure you get proper positioning for Necrotic Venom/Twisting Shadows positioning. You can use Diffuse Magic to stack Necrotic Venom on top of each other if you’re healthy enough and in range of healers.
Although Wretched Ambush‘s damage can be reduced drastically with Dampen Harm, this is raid wide damage and usually AoE healing cooldowns are used on it. Therefore, you probably will get more out of Diffuse Magic, since that one allows you to cheese more of the player specific stuff.
You can put Transcendence up on the bridge before pull; this will make the transition that much smoother. A Windwalker using Transcendence into warlock portal gets to the platform way faster than someone who used a feather!
Not much changes for you here; with Windwalker’s insane mobility, it won’t be hard to respect very strict Wretched Ambush timings; links are not that big of a burden either usually, although Windwalker hates downtime.
Cannot stress enough how much Transcendence helps in mythic. This is a very powerful spell, make the most out of it!
Use Touch of Death instantly on pull, otherwise you won’t be able to cast it a second time phase one: she flies at 2:00.
Make sure you have Fists of Fury up for Skittering Spiderling spawns, but don’t use it before they are in position. It is indeed better to delay Fists of Fury by 10 seconds to get that big Fists of Fury on 4-5 targets, however this must be done properly. You can maximize Transfer the Power stacks for that.
If things go bad and some tanks are dying, feel free to use Provoke to peel a Skittering Spiderling away from the boss, stun it, use your defensives well and get it off the boss to kill it. Be careful if doing so, but Provoke is probably more useful here than on a boss swap mechanic.
